A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Benjamin Greenbaum at the Tisch Cancer Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. The lab focuses on new statistical and computational approaches to cancer genomics, cancer immunology and host-pathogen interactions. The position is available for up to two years, with the possibility of extension. The candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to and shape several ongoing projects, and establish their own independent research path.
• A Ph.D. in computer science, math, physics, statistics, computational biology or another quantitative
• Candidates with previous experience handling next generation sequence data are encouraged to apply.
• Programming experience is necessary though the exact experience may vary. Candidates with
some combination of C/C++, R, perl, python, UNIX, SQL and Matlab skills are encouraged.
• Writing and communication skills are also desired.
