What You’ll Do:
 
Manage professional revenue cycle activities for MSQ multispecialty physicians including but not limited to coding for multispecialty inpatient and outpatient professional services, physician education, charge capture and reconciliation, accounts receivable management, credentialing, and denials management.
 
  1. Oversee team’s daily pre-billing reviews and charge releases to ensure accurate and timely physicians’ coding and documentation review flow. 
  2. Assist team with daily coding activities and Epic work-queues/Patient Keeper charge release.  Provide guidance on multispecialty professional coding and manage resolution of all coding issues in a timely manner. 
  3. Educate physicians on coding and billing compliance to maximize revenue opportunities, while minimizing billing compliance risk. 
  4. Partner with Compliance to ensure compliance guidelines are established consistently throughout professional billing.
  5. Supervises, trains, orients and evaluates performance of coding and revenue cycle personnel in Department.  Foster an environment that promotes teamwork.
  6. Analyze weekly CPT reports and other monthly reports from CBO and McKesson to identify trends and improve accounts receivable and coding-related denials management.  Reconcile physicians’ charges and identify areas of revenue opportunities. 

 

What You’ll Bring:
 
Bachelors Degree
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or other coding certifications a must
Surgery and Multispecialty Coding in a multispecialty professional setting preferred
Strong knowledge of coding, billing techniques and third-party reimbursement.
Strong organizational and leadership skills

Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point.

EPIC experience a plus
IDX experience a plus
