What You’ll Do:

 

The Marketing Coordinator functions as the primary point-of-contact between the Marketing and Communications department and multiple department partners throughout Mount Sinai Queens, providing strategic guidance and leading day-to-day project management and workflow. Assists in developing and managing all communications, activities and services with responsibilities in key areas of communications, with particular emphasis on content development, writing, editing, and project management for publications, web site content, media relations, and community outreach (if applicable). Works collaboratively with other Department staff and will participate in cross-disciplinary teams to achieve Department-wide and Institutional priorities.  Some administrative duties required.
 
What You'll Bring:
    • BA/BS Degree in Communications or Marketing
    • 3+ years of business experience, client management, journalism, public relations, public affairs, or media relations, or marketing experience preferred.
    • Understanding of the interplay between online content, web marketing and other marketing vehicles.
    • Team player who can build effective working relationships, is detail-oriented, and ready to roll up his/her sleeves. Ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and drive and can lead projects with minimal oversight. 
    • Experience in healthcare, medical or non-profit marketing preferred.
    • Proven proficiency in computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to film and edit using iPhone

    • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills with superb attention to detail and quality control.
    • Budget Accountability a must - Monitors expenses related to external vendors & ensures that projects fall within budget parameters. When 3rd party vendors involved, they assist in researching quotes, but no signing involved.
