Job Description

The Project Manager II, a member of the senior management team, will have overall responsibility for coordinating and managing the Health Information Exchange applications and functionality provided to Interboro Participants. Responsibilities include working with Application vendors and Interboro Participants to:

§  Establishing project and implementation priorities

§  Coordinate the testing and implementation of interfaces to Participant ‘s data systems

§  Coordiate the implementation of  new services and functionality

§  Identify and define new requirements

§  Serve  as the primary liaison between Interboro  and  Participant IT contacts  and with system vendors

§  System testing and ongoing monitoring

§  Addressing technology issues, and coordinating issue resolutions

-Advanced degree or equivalent experience.

-Three + years’ experience testing and implementing health care applications and interfaces.

-Strong technical, analytical and trouble-shooting skills.

-Project management experience required.

-Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and to learn diverse technologies quickly.

-Excellent follow-through skills, self-motivated and detail-oriented.

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, issues, and priorities effectively and simultaneously, with attention to detail.

-Strong knowledge of HIPAA and privacy and security standards.

-Proficient in use of MS Office.

-Previous experience with HIE applications, Reporting and Data Analysis software preferred.
