Performs and participates in the diagnostic evaluation of patients. Identifies children and adult strabismus patients. Responsible for the assessment of visual acuity in infants and preverbal children. Carries out eye patching programs and exercises. Assists Pediatric Ophthalmologists with the training of resident physicians.
-BS/BA in Orthoptics education or equivalent required.
-Minimum one year related experience required.
-Minimal knowledge of computer skills.
