South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, NY is seeking a Nursing Home Infectious Disease Physician! The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care and quality outcomes. In addition, this ambitious and talented physician will be interested in establishing an exclusive cutting edge nursing home consultative practice with opportunities for antimicrobial stewardship. An innovative and new type of infectious diseases practice is being contemplated, with opportunity to expand this program across a large nursing home group.

Position Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University

  • New York State Medical License

  • Board Certified or eligible in Infectious Disease

The position would report to the Chair of the Department of Medicine at South Nassau Communities Hospital.
