Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinates patients for Pre-Surgical Testing, registration and insurance verifications for elective admissions.  Aims to provide the best quality customer relations to patients, family, physicians and staff.
Provide the best quality customer relations, with patients, family, physicians and staff. 
1. Collect cases booked the night before
2.  Log cases in chronological order
3.  Register outpatient admissions
4.  Call patients to obtain demographics and insurance information
5.  Verify and pre-certify insurances  
6.  Meet and greet patients & obtain documents and signatures.
7.  Prepare patients charts
8.  Answer telephone
9.  Order supplies
10. Post Pre-Testing charges,
11. Bring logged out work to ambulatory surgery center.
12. Call Doctor’s office to obtain pre cert as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write and understand written English words and sentences.
  • Must have medical terminology background.
  • Knowledge and experience with Optimum/Keane System, PHS/HSM.
  • Must be courteous, professional and positive disposition as well as excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
