Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West, is seeking a Full-time Clinical Nephrologist to join our outstanding Division of Nephrology!
The Division of Nephrology of Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and West, a part of the Mount Sinai Health System, is comprised of 5 full time and 2 part time nephrologists as well as 3 physician assistants. The Division’s mission, under the leadership of Ira Meisels, M.D., Chief of the Division, is to deliver outstanding clinical care in all aspects of Nephrology, be outstanding educators of medical students, house staff and fellows, and advance knowledge in the field of Nephrology through clinical research.
The Division of Nephrology at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s/West is the principal provider of Nephrology services on the Upper West Side and its clinical activities encompass busy outpatient faculty practices centered on CKD management, supervision of outpatient dialysis at and medical directorship of dialysis centers on the West Side and inpatient consultations at both Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West. Faculty members hold academic appointments at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and teach and supervise our Nephrology fellows and Internal Medicine house staff.
This busy academic Nephrology Practice providing consultative services and inpatient dialysis at 2 hospital campuses, with a very busy outpatient dialysis practice and a thriving outpatient CKD practice. Our faculty members work closely with and teach and supervise our Nephrology fellows and Internal Medicine house staff. The position will have a focus on outstanding clinical work and teaching and have opportunities for clinical research. The successful candidate will be board certified or eligible in Nephrology.
