Job Description

Responsible for coordinating all administrative activities related to the appointment of intergrated and intramural House Staff, Medical Education and GME; coordinating the registration, instruction and orientation program for newly appointed residents; assuring compliance with relevant Federal and New York State regulations and TJC requirements.

-Education training is necessary to provide sufficient foundation for good written and oral communication skills. Good arithmetical aptitude required, especially for preparation of budgeting, requisitioning of supplies and regulatory reporting.  In addition, Bachelor of Science Degree is required or equivalent.

-1-2 years related experience required.

-Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint Presentation & Systems Development Skills, Outlook and Computer Software Proficiency.

-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.

-Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and assignments.

-Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

-Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with persons at different levels in the organization.

-Demonstrated customer service skills.

-Demonstrated administrative support skills.
