Roles & Responsibilities:


·         Knowledge of IntelliCred
·         Process credential and re-credential applications using Webview
·         Primary source verification of all applicants e.g. NPDB, ABMS, etc.
·         Tracks responses and follows-up on items not received
·         Maintains credential records and follow up on annual updates
·         Knowledge of operating policies and procedures
·         Inquiries to references, educational institutions to complete credentialing
·         Communicate with Directors of Service and Administrative Assistant staff of outstanding documents needed for completing the credentialing and re-credentialing process
·         Prepares rosters for Governing Body approval
·         Act as liaison between the department and Central Office for urgent approval
·         Upload privileges into IntelliCred; update IntelliCred; send congratulation letters
·         Tracks provisional credentials for advancement of privileges
·         Prepare new practitioner credentialing folder
·         Filing includes: correspondence; credentials; re-credential; memos received from Central Office; etc.
·         Prepare monthly Medical Executive Committee minutes
·         Maintain and update both IntelliCred software
·         Order office supplies and getting funds added to accounts on Peoplesoft
·         Storage of credential files
·         Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
·         Excellent organizational skills and oral communication
·         May perform other related duties

  

Requirements:
  • Minimum Education 

    (HS/GED; specialized training; degree and discipline)

    Associate’s Degree or equivalent.

    Credentials Specialist Certificate (CPCS/ICE)

    Minimum Related Experience

    Experience required.
