Victory Internal Medicine is seeking full-time and part-time Hospitalist to join it’s practices on Staten Island!
Victory has been established since 2000 and has been part of Mount Sinai since April 2015. Victory takes pride in being a very progressive practice with latest standard Level 3 PCMH certification, very active in the Staten Island DSRIP organization (SIPPS) and the successful Richmond Quality ACO. Their outpatient practice has a fully integrated behavioral health component and a robust Chronic Care Management program.
The practices 2 outpatient locations on Staten Island are highly regarded by peers and institutions alike. In addition to adult lnternal Medicine, the practice employs Nephrologists and Podiatrists. There are a total of 14 providers. Victory provides the full spectrum of care – outpatient, inpatient at both hospitals on Staten Island, and also covers local Skilled Nursing Facilities. They are medical directors at 2 large SNFs and have a presence in 2 additional SNFs. They are also exclusive medicine providers at 2 large adult home facilities. The offices are open 7 days a week.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Hospitalist and also have had some exposure to outpatient internal medicine. Candidates with only Hospitalist experience will be considered. Flexible scheduling is available, including a 4 day work week. Incorporating a Saturday into the standard work week is preferred. Victory can also offer a variety of responsibilities which would include Hospitalist duties and can incorporate both SNF and outpatient duties as preferred by the candidate.
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven work
