Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for answering routine and specific inquiries when possible.  Directs inquiries, when necessary, to the appropriate department or individual for further information and/or a resolution.  Assists in maintaining and monitoring the budget and grant allocations.  Prepares documents required to maintain balanced accounts for review and approval.  Checks documents and materials submitted for administrative approval to ensure all relevant data, authorizations and pertinent information are included.  Assists in the planning and logistical arrangements for forums, conferences, seminars, meetings, employee engagement activities, departmental retreats, and/or visiting professorships.  Mentor, train, and/or conduct orientation for new office staff and monitor performance.  Interacts with newly credentialed faculty and coordinates orientation among multiple departments within NYEE.  Will work on special projects at the direction of the supervisor.  Researches, locates, and compiles information for reports.  Assembles and categorizes figures for computation and calculations.  High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
