Job Description

Works in the Center for Child Trauma and Resilience (CCTR) to help train others in trauma-informed care, delivers psychotherapy for children and families with traumatic stress, helps with data analysis and records maintenance for clinical research studies, participates in efforts to raise awareness on issues of childhood traumatic stress by organizing professional seminars, conferences, trainings, and providing community outreach and education, helps to write grants and scientific articles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Training & Responsibilities
a. Help coordinate trainings in evidence-based treatments for traumatized children
b. Train in evidence-based treatments for traumatized children
c. Provide Direct Clinical Service for Traumatized Children (50 encounter/month requirement)
2. Outreach Responsibilities
a. School Liaison and school visits to insure proper data collection and screenings?
b. Develop community outreach programs and lectures
c. Build community relationships and relationships with collaborating agencies (e.g., schools and ACS Family Prevention Programs)
d. Attend Meetings with Consumer Advisory Board
3. Project Evaluation Responsibilities:
a. conduct local process and outcome evaluations;
b. submit client level data to the Core Data Set (CDS) every quarter;
c. fully participate in the NCTSI Cross-site Evaluation (CSE);
d. comply with GPRA reporting requirements, including TRAC.
e. Supervise Research Assistant in Project Evaluation
4. Sustainability Responsibilities
a. Grant Writing
b. Write scientific articles

Performs other related duties
Education:
PhD or PsyD in Psychology

Experience:
Completion of predoctoral internship in psychology

Computer and General Skills:
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and statistical packages
Excellent written and oral communication; good team player; excellent clinical skills; excellent public speaking and engagement
