Candidate will study immune modulatory therapies for treatment of cancer, graft vs. host disease (GVHD), hematological malignancy, and autoimmune diseases, and for targeting cancer initiating/stem cells. Specifically, we are studying myeloid-derived suppressor cells, T cell immune tolerance, and macrophage differentiation. Applicants should possess a solid knowledge of immunology. Special consideration will be given to candidates with background and experiences in immunological research, GVL (graft vs. leukemia), signal transduction, memory T cells or inflammation.
