Postdoctoral Fellow position in Neuroscience in a dynamic research laboratory that studies molecular mechanisms, in particular, epigenetic regulation of axon regeneration and neural repair. New research projects involve characterization of novel chromatin biology and epigenetic modulations that mediate CNS repair strategy. Multidisciplinary approaches include molecular, cellular and mouse genetics combined with in vivo gene transfer technology and rodent CNS injury and disease models.
Candidates should have a recent PhD in biomedical sciences, and high motivation to pursue independent research endeavors in a competitive field.
Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry is required and knowledge in epigenetics, ChIP, neuronal cell cultures, mouse genetics and animal surgery is desirable. Successful candidates should have strong communication/written skills.
