Roles & Responsibilities:

Performs radiologic procedures, assists in the coordination of patient flow into and out of the x-ray area, ensures supplies are available, responsible for daily maintenance of equipment and organization of x-ray films.  Utilizes PACS system to process films.  Responsible for registering x-ray studies and patients in PACS and entering in the system at the completion of the study so billing can be performed.  Provides Medical Assistant clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care.  Will be required to perform phlebotomy duties and other duties as required.  Must be a graduate of an AMA approved radiography program.  Certification as a Medical Assistant from an approved school or equivalent training and experience is required.  Three to four years experience as a Medical Assistant required.  High school diploma or GED required.  Associate’s Degree required, BA/BS preferred.  Must have Radiology Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).  Minimum 2-5 years experience taking radiographs.  Experience in a concierge practice setting preferred.
