Roles & Responsibilities:

The Lead Clinical Assistant will oversee the flow of patients in the “back-of-house” and work closely with the providers to ensure timeliness and patient satisfaction.  The Lead Clinical Assistant will also work alongside the providers to triage and prioritize patient and provider needs, serving as a Medical Assistant when needed.  Finally, the Lead Clinical Assistant will partner with the Administrative Manager to lead the Medical Assistant Team, including scheduling and performance management.  The ideal candidate would exhibit warmth and confidence when working with patients, be an excellent communicator, and a natural team leader who is committed to working with their peers to go above and beyond for patients.  This role will perform a hybrid function within the health center, performing both administrative and clinical duties to promote an efficient and seamless patient experience in a changing environment.  Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.  Medical Assistant certification required.  Must have at least 4 years of Medical Assistant experience with phlebotomy responsibilities.  Must have experience is leadership or supervisory roles.
