SESSIONAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
The occupational therapist will evaluate and provide treatment to outpatients (pediatric and geriatric population) with a myriad of diagnoses which include but are not limited to CVA, Carpal Tunnel, Cervicalgia, and shoulder pathology. Must be able to design and fabricate adaptive equipment such as splints or sling to prevent deformity and improve function. Instruct patients and/or family in use of said adaptive equipment and on home exercise program.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in occupational therapy
New York State Occupational Therapy License
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred.
Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy program
