BronxCare Hospital Center is currently seeking a Neonatologist!
 
For over 120 years, BronxCare Hospital Center has provided quality health care to those in need. Today, BronxCare is the largest voluntary, not-for-profit health care system serving the South and Central Bronx, with 972 beds at two major hospital divisions, comprehensive psychiatric and chemical dependency programs, two specialized long-term care facilities, and an extensive BronxCare Network of medical practices, including the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Health Center, that provides more than 1.1 million visits annually. BronxCare Hospital Center is now among the largest providers of outpatient services in New York City, and its ER is responding to 140,000 visits, one of the busiest in New York. Its outpatient practices are also certified as a Level Three Patient-Centered Medical Home (the highest designation) by the National Center for Quality Assurance.

Position Description:

Level 3 NICU with about 2,000 deliveries a year
Provide medical care in high-functioning setting
Provide inpatient consultations
University affiliated; community based practice
Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system
Regular hours are from 9 to 5pm
House calls are done by HPs and NNPs with backup from Neonatologists

Position Qualifications:

Medical Degree from an Accredited University
New York Medical License
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology
Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
