Roles & Responsibilities:

The orderly functions by providing transportation and patient care activities as directed.

  1. Transports patients requiring Cardiology exams between the various Nursing Units and the Cardiology Testing area.
  1. Works closely with the Cardiology management team, as well as the Cardiology Technical staff to ensure that the proper patient is transported to and from the Cardiology testing area in a timely basis and as directed by the technical staff.
  1. Practices AIDET when transporting patients
  1. Always practices two patient identifiers when transporting patients to and from the Cardiology Testing area.
  1. Assists with patient movement from Ambulatory Imaging area to CT Suite as directed by Cardiology team for cardiac CT procedures.
  1. Participates in departmental performance improvement projects.
      7. Performs related and unrelated duties as assigned
