Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversees Admitting Registration points-of services ensuring adherence to protocol and proper staffing; adjusting staff as patient flow demands.  Will design curriculum and educate staff on new enhancements and existing/new processes.  Will address patients/visitors concerns and satisfaction as relating to registration/patient flow process; escalating matters as required.  Works in collaboration with the Manager in scheduling, timekeeping, quality reviews, recruitment and corrective action as needed.  Reconciles cash and credit collections daily.  Communicates with other departments and staff to address patient throughput and bed assignments.  Works in collaboration with the management team in designing registration initiatives.  Educates all Registration Areas on new Registration Protocols.  Will establish the Final Schedule release and oversees that patient reminder calls are made.  Ensures inventory and orders when inventory is depleted.  Will perform other duties as assigned.  Prior experience with Medical Billing/Registration or related field preferred.  Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required.  High school diploma or GED required.
