Roles & Responsibilities: 



The Care Management/Quality Assessment Medical Secretary assists staff in CM/QA/CDI departments with support functions. 

    1. Performs general office work and data entry as needed and assigned
    2. Carries through to completion work projects assigned by the Director and the Administrative Assistant.
    3. Handles confidential files relating to patients and the medical staff
    4. Answers telephones and takes messages.
    5. Receives insurance requests for clinical reviews and tasks requests to appropriate care manager.
    6. Maintains AllScripts/Keane with updated information at all times.
    7. Requests and retrieves medical records from H.I.M. Department as needed.
    8. Assists with denials and appeals, QA and CDI activities as well as reporting and statistics as needed.


  • High School diploma
  • College graduate preferred.
  • Proficiency in other languages a plus.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office), preferred experience in use of statistical tools
  • Work experience in Care Management, QA, and CDI departments preferred
