Internal Medicine Clinician Educator needed for Mount Sinai Downtown Primary Care Teaching Practice!
The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Clinician Educator to join its academic medical practice General Medical Associates. General Medical Associates is the primary care teaching practice for 60 internal medicine residents from Mount Sinai Beth Israel. The structure is team based with residents paired with primary preceptors as well as other members of the care team including nursing, social work, behavioral health and pharmacy. The patient mix is highly diverse and medically complex. While the candidate would primary serve as a preceptor at General Medical Associates their duties may including additional precepting sessions at Ryan Nena where we have 24 Mount Sinai Beth Israel residents as well as some patient care sessions. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for primary care, teaching and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The physician should be amenable to some evenings and weekends.

The Mount Sinai Heath System is undertaking a sweeping transformation of Mount Sinai Beth Israel (MSBI) to create the new Mount Sinai Downtown Network, an expanded and unified network of state-of-the-art facilities stretching from the East River to the Hudson River below 34th Street.
