Roles & Responsibilities:

Works collaboratively with the Revenue Cycle Director, as well as other source owners to develop a project plan for each project that will establish timelines, tasks, and milestones in collaboration with the various departments within the health system.  Responsible for in-depth knowledge of system software as well as operational workflows.  Responsible for coordinating and communicating with the end users and representatives from various hospitals, financial and ancillary departments on a routine basis.  The Revenue Cycle Coordinator must demonstrate knowledge in billing and collection of at least on payer type billing practices, with an understanding of additional insurance payer types and collection practices.  High school diploma or GED required.  Some college required.
