Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC!


The Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is recruiting a Full Time BC/BE Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our faculty. Located in the East side of Manhattan, the hospital is an integral part of a vibrant, socioeconomically and culturally diverse community and serves families from all 5 boroughs and outside of New York City. The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine is comprised of an outstanding group of national leaders in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.  Mount Sinai Hospital is the central Pediatric Emergency Department in the Mount Sinai Health System, which sees over 80,000 children annually across seven emergency departments in the NYC area, and is the receiving center for the only pediatric hospital in the Mount Sinai Health System.  We provide care to over 26,000 children annually in a self-enclosed unit with PEM fellows, pediatric focused nursing, child life specialists, music therapy, medical students and resident house staff from five leading residency programs.  Kravis Children’s Hospital at Mount Sinai provides cutting edge, quaternary specialty care across all specialties, including an emerging acute ECMO program. 


Our dedicated faculty is responsible for the training of medical students, house staff in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine as well as Fellows in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.  We are engaged in grant-funded research in simulation, ultrasound, medical education, resuscitation, observation medicine, medical technology and quality improvement.  Opportunities for active contributions and career development are also available in the fields of medical education, critical care, ultrasound, population and community health, EMS, global health, clinical research and administration.  The Department of Emergency Medicine boasts national and international leaders in ED research, including the only ED based T32 research fellow training program.
