Roles & Responsibilities: 

Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing therapy at a next-generation health center at Hudson Yards.  The therapist will collaborate with the Hudson Yards Medical Director on the design of a new way of delivering care and wellness programs at the workplace to create an exceptional patient experience.  Focus will be on providing the best patient care and experience possible.  Clinical performance will be evaluated on patient satisfaction (longer appointments and coordinated follow-up care).  Must be comfortable collaborating in the team-based care practice style.  Will perform initial examinations, establish appropriate goals, plan and implement treatment interventions, perform timely re-examinations and modify goals and treatment interventions accordingly.  Will recommend appropriate, durable medical and exercise equipment in coordination with appropriate team members.  Participates in discharge planning, makes recommendations for safety, sports/recreational activities, and provides home exercise programs.  Writes letters of medical necessity when indicated.  Carries out other appropriate professional duties as necessary.  Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.  Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.  Minimum 3 years’ experience in outpatient Physical Therapy setting.  Must have Physical Therapy license from the Department of Health/Office of Professions.  Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be technologically savvy.
