Job Description

A postdoctoral position is available immediately to investigate the importance of the HIV-1 envelope signal sequence in determining the envelope functions, neutralization, transmission and glycosylation. The appointment will be at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. Experience in HIV-1 or other viruses, primary cell cultures, flow cytometry, microscopy, molecular biology and cell biology related techniques is preferred. 

Job Qualifications

Experience in HIV-1 or other viruses, primary cell cultures, flow cytometry, microscopy, molecular biology and cell biology related techniques is preferred. Experience in glycobiology is a plus. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated, skilled and organized scientist with strong communication and teamwork skills. Requirements for this post include past records of publication, a Ph.D. or PhD/MD degree, and 0-2 years of postdoctoral experience.
