The postdoctoral fellow will initiate a novel research program investigating circuit dysfunction in epilepsy. The candidate will use both calcium imaging and electrophysiology is control and epileptic mice to determine the precise circuit mechanisms that lead to seizures and cognitive deficits. The candidate is expected to work highly independently within the lab and make a novel conceptual advance within the field.
PhD in neuroscience, psychology, biology, or related field. Experience with electrophysiology, calcium imaging, computational data analysis, or behavioral assays in rodent models is highly desirable.
