The Pediatric Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program (P-MAP) under the direction of Vilma Gabbay, M.D., M.S., is a unique program in the greater New York metropolitan area dedicated to the study and treatment of child, adolescent, and young adult mood and anxiety disorders. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow. He/she will be responsible for providing evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, and young adults with mood and anxiety disorders, tic disorders, and OCD under supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. Additionally, he/she will conduct clinical evaluations of patients participating in research studies investigating adolescent psychiatric disorders. Experience with DBT is preferred.
•Provision of evidenced-based psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and young adults •Administration of diagnostic/clinical evaluations with adolescents and their parents
Education: •Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA accredited program •Completion of an APA accredited predoctoral internship
Experience: •Experience providing CBT and/or DBT with children, adolescents, and adults •Experience in diagnostic interviewing with adolescents (e.g., Kiddie-SADS)
