What You’ll Do:

 Coordinates Respiratory Care Services in collaboration with physicians and nursing, provides clinical mentoring and performance management, and participates in performance improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates and practices the responsibilities of pediatric Respiratory Care Services based on a collaborative practice with physicians and nursing.
2. Primary supervisory hospital-wide coverage on weekends, holidays, and in absence of adult managers.
3. Performs clinical teaching for therapists, nursing, students and residents on a continual basis.
4. Evaluates the performance and clinical competence of both hospital staff and Respiratory Therapists.
5. Orients new staff members.
6. Monitors and reports Performance Improvement initiatives for pediatric respiratory care and transport.
7. Participates in the creation and revision of policies and procedures for Respiratory Care Services 



What you’ll Bring:

Registered Respiratory Therapy Therapist.

3+ years as Respiratory Therapist, with some supervisory experience.
