Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for an entry level research assistant (RA) who will be responsible for both clinical and research related tasks. With regard to research, the RA will help coordinate subject recruitment and screening and help manage databases relevant to several ongoing research projects in the Eating and Weight Disorders Program (EWDP). The RA will also assist with grant submissions, as necessary. With regard to clinical work, the RA will also conduct initial telephone screens for individuals interested in seeking treatment at the EWDP and will assist with billing responsibilities, as necessary. The job is full time at five days per week.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participant screening via telephone or brief interview
  • Participant recruitment
  • Data entry
  • Manuscript and grant formatting and editing
  • Performs other related duties
 
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s in Psychology or related field
  • 6 months in a research lab paid or as a volunteer
  • Proficient with MS Office (intermediate), SPSS (basic), adobe (basic)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and writing skills needed
