Job Title: Programmer Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:


Our data management group provides end-to-end data management support across Mount Sinai’s clinical institutes and clinical care service lines. Our scope encompasses clinical data registries and disease-based cohort databases that are used for the purposes of quality initiatives, performance improvement, and patient outcomes research. We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst that will be responsible for development of data extracts from EPIC Clarity and from other EMRs deployed at Mount Sinai Health System. The role of Senior Healthcare Analyst is to serve as technical lead and to have a hands-on responsibility in development of ETLs, analytical data structures and statistical reports.


Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's (required) or Master’s (preferred) in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, Computer or Systems Engineering or related field that further developed your expertise in the business of health and healthcare

Minimum Related Experience

  • Three (+) years of data analytics experience using data visualization software and BI tools. Prior experience as a healthcare data analyst or business analyst working with clinical EHR (Epic Clarity) data and nomenclatures and hospital claims data and disease classification systems
  • Solid understanding of enterprise data warehouse and complex data models
  • String PL/SQL skills
  • Experience using ETL tools plus
  • Project management (agile, lean) skills a plus
