IT Project Manager I


Roles & Responsibilities: 

The IT Communication Lead is responsible for leading, planning, and carrying out communication and change management functions to accomplish the objectives of the IT leadership team. This role will help facilitate day-to-day communication across the Mount Sinai IT Department and will also be part of the overall planning and strategy of these tasks. This candidate coordinates, schedules, and liaises between teams and colleagues and may work directly with the executive team. 


The scope of this role will include support for the broader IT organization and the newly launched IT Centers of Excellence (CoE). The IT CoEs are leadership groups that set and share IT best practices and drive operational excellence across the IT organization. Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.


Requirements: 
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Experience:
1. Six years of related experience as a project team member of which at least        four years have been in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination        of education and work experience. 
2. Able to manage projects from inception to successful implementation. 
3. Requires strong analytical, communication, technical teamwork and                    interpersonal skills. 
4. Able to foster working relationships with the team and client departments.
