The Translational and Molecular Imaging Institute (TMII) at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a post-doctoral scholar to develop novel quantitative MRI techniques with a focus on liver disease and liver cancer. This is an excellent opportunity to conduct innovative MR research with access to state-of-the-art imaging equipment housed in the new Hess Center for Science and Medicine. The project is aimed at developing and analyzing advanced MRI data including MR elastography and ultrasound elastography data for assessment of portal hypertension. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be working under the supervision of Dr. Bachir Taouli. Job responsibilities include image acquisition and processing, as well as data analysis of MRI and ultrasound methods.
