Medical Assistant l - 2315430


Provides clinical office support to Physicians & Surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling remote appointments in Epic
  • Enrolling patients into device sites (adding MRN and physician)
  • Scheduling transmission appointments in respective device site
  • Downloading daily transmission from sites
  • Working no-show lists
    • Calling patient or patient family member to send remote transmission. Following up to see if transmission was received. If no, transmission sending a letter.
  • Calling patients with disconnected monitors and patients who missed their transmission
  • Ordering monitors and cell adapters for patients
  • Creating schedule letter for patients with manual devices
  • Arriving appointments in Epic, creating encounter for Physician extenders and physicians to complete and sign
  • Assisting patients with sending transmissions


  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an approved school or two years of experience working as a medical assistant.
  • Training will be provided.  Must be bilingual (Spanish)
