Will assist the PI with the in vitro and in vivo biochemical experiments. Will conduct high performance liquid chromatography/mass-spectrometry based proteomic approaches in conjugation with pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics studies. From these experiments, in vitro and in vivo kinetics of SUMO pathway will be determined in both healthy and diseased animals. The role on the project will be to define the role of SUMO1 molecules in cardiovascular diseases.
