Exercise Physiologist - 2319436


Establishes and coordinate with assistance from the clinic administrator the program and activities in order to develop and exercise prescription and activity program for patients, that is consistent with their caloric expenditures and physical abilities

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Design and implementation of patient specific therapeutic exercise programs, both individual and group programs.

  • Treat and educate medically complex patients on disease management, symptom management and appropriate behavioral modifications.

  • Perform follow-up on all patient therapeutic interventions.

  • Document and provide feedback on patient progress.

  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals directly involved in patient care

  • Prepare and maintain required reports and statistics.




Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, required. Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, optional.

  • Minimum of two (2)  years related work experience in exercise physiology required.

  • Proficiency in ECG monitoring and interpretation

  • Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist (CES) from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), preferred. Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP), preferred

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, required.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, required.

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation Experience, required.
