Job Description

This position is for a postdoctoral fellow. He or she will have administrative and clinical responsibilities, including contributing to outpatient services. The fellow will also be involved with: teaching and training of externs, fellows, and residents; execution of individual, family, and group psychotherapy for patients with feeding, eating, and weight disorders; organizational tasks in the Eating and Weight Disorders Program. As part of the grant-funded project supporting this position, the postdoctoral fellow will also be screening patients to be enrolled in the study, obtaining informed consent for the study, assisting the research assistant in helping to retain participants in the study, and providing treatment to families enrolled in the research. In addition, he/she will aid in grant administration, IRB submissions, and other clinical oversight of interviews and management of participants enrolled in the study.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical assessment of patients and, if applicable, their families
Clinical treatment of individuals with eating disorders involved in the clinical or research programs
Psychiatric evaluations with study participants
Grants administration
Study coordination
Performs other related duties
