Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
    1.Support operations by performing detailed reviews of patient electronic medical records in support of new and existing analytics.

    2.Perform comprehensive and detailed quality assurance reviews of analytic and reporting products. Properly document discrepancies or inconsistencies.

    3.Data mine Mount Sinai PPS and Health System data systems and tables to support creation or enhancements of analytics.

    4.Assist in quantitative data and clinical data analyses, as needed
    a.Key components of data analyses include, but not limited to, data research, collection, aggregation, trends analyses, interpretation and applicability, reporting, and presentation 

    5.Assist in qualitative research and creation of informative content related to key concepts and elements for senior-level consumption 

    6.Learn basic relational database report programming and create basic to intermediate queries.

    7.Attend meetings in support of analytics and population health performance reporting. Correspond with key stakeholders to ensure proper execution of reporting and analytic projects.

    8.Performs additional duties as assigned or directed by team



  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in a health care administration, public health, business, policy, or related field.
