Roles & Responsibilities: 
 

The Research Program Coordinator II develops study protocols, designs management and statistical plans, analyzes data and prepares final reports from study. The Research Program Coordinator II manages activities associated to research projects, including training, supervision of staff, grant and budget preparation, data management and statistical analysis with adherence to applicable regulations.

 

The candidate should have organizational skills, experience with Quality Management/Quality Systems in the area of biotechnology, and a profound understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) setups and regulations. Prior experience with general molecular biology and cell culture techniques are necessary.

  • Maintaining and operating the GMP facility
  • Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Translation of research protocols into SOPs. Training of
  • personnel in GMP/GLP procedures
  • Writing the Chemistry Manufacturing and Control (CMC) sections for IND applications.
  • Liaison between ISMMS and industry/academic collaborators
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets, agreements, and contracts
  • Submitting invoices and writing and submitting progress reports as needed in a timely manner
 
Requirements: 
  • Education: Master’s in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Natural Sciences or related field
  • Experience: Minimum five years of experience in data management and study coordination in healthcare or basic research
  • Knowledge in preparing publication, documents, reports and communication materials for distribution
  • Experience managing/directing research project projects and/or grants based programs, and supervising data collection activities
