Billing Coordinator – Edits, 2353156
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
 

Responsible for resolving simple to moderate system edits from the electronic billing system and/or payors to facilitate the accurate and timely payment of claims.

 
  • Reviews and resolves simple to moderately complex pre-billing issues on insurance claims submissions
  • Works and resolves simple to moderately complex system edits including TES, BAR and eCommerce
  • May contact practice or payors to resolve payor issues
  • Performs other related duties
 
Requirements:
 
  • Education: Associates Degree or HS Diploma/GED plus two years of related experience
  • Experience: Two years of experience in a medical billing or insurance claims environment
