Roles & Responsibilities:

Develops, implements and supervises the business and support functions of the following departments: Eleven West Amenities Unit and other relevant departments within purview of Guest Services.


Supervision of activities of the house food and beverage service for this medical/surgical amenities unit as well as the Guest Residence. Oversees housekeeping, concierge service, 24 hour reception and doorman services.


Ensures upkeep of physical plant, and processes the purchase and maintenance of all capital equipment. Responsible for the recruitment, hire and discharge process, review, discipline and supervision of 1199 employees, as well as NBU positions, contracted employees and 32B/J doormen.


Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures applicable to the structure and operation of 11W, the Guest Residence and International Patient Services.


Develops and secures approval of operation budgets for 11W, the Guest Residence and International Patient Services.

 
Requirements:

       Bachelor's degree required lesser degree with life experience.  Experience in the hospitality industry and/or management of support staff is preferred.
