Roles & Responsibilities: 
 

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing operational and project-based support services for the Mount Sinai Parenting (MSPC). The Project Coordinator will oversee all tasks and activities related to the roll-out and implementation of wide-scale projects; including necessary written reports, face-to face meetings with hospital staff and leadership, adherence to strict timelines and benchmarks, and regular reporting to senior staff.  This position will report to the MSPC Program Director.

 

The Mount Sinai Parenting Center is located in the Department of Pediatrics in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  The Center's mission is to transform the way pediatric healthcare is delivered by maximizing opportunities to promote strong parent-child relationships and early child development within everyday healthcare interactions.

 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and assignments
  • Ability to manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, resources, and deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Accountable, organized, effective and self-motivated 
  • Ability to work both independently as well as in a team 
  • Excellent professional and interpersonal written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly 
  • Confident and dynamic personality; leadership qualities and experience

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent education and work experience
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience required
