Job Title: Social Worker (PART-TIME) – Psychiatry (LCSW/BILINGUAL)


Roles & Responsibilities:

The social worker will provide DSM-V diagnostic evaluation and short-term (12 week) psychotherapy using a collaborative care model within the Internal Medicine Associates Primary Care clinic on 102nd Street. Patients are referred by IMA Primary Care Physicians for short term on site mental health services. The social worker will work collaboratively with a full time psychiatrist and with IMA Primary Care Physicians and Social Workers and related staff members.


New York State LMSW required, LCSW preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Knowledge and experience using DSM-V criteria for evaluation and diagnosis of mental health disorders.
Experience using short term evidence based therapy models.
Training and experience with collaborative care model preferred.
Exceptional flexibility, clinical, collaborative, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to triage emergent clinical presentations.
