Job Title: Social Worker – Psychiatry
Roles & Responsibilities:
This social work position is within adult Ambulatory Psychiatry Services, a specialized mental health program, for a clinician with experience working with serious/chronic mental illness.
The Ambulatory Psychiatry Services program is located at Terence Cardinal Cooke Healthcare Center at 20 East 106th Street at Madison Avenue and at 1160 Fifth Avenue.
New York State LCSW required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Experience treating patients with serious/chronic mental illness.
Knowledge of and experience using evidence based practices in treatment of adult mental illness.
Knowledge of DSM V and experience in evaluation and diagnosis of mental illness
Exceptional clinical, collaborative, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of community resources for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
