Roles & Responsibilities:
 

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling appointments, consults and follow-up appointments for patients:

  • Understand the patients’ needs and educate them on available benefits/services offered by World Trade Center Program
  • Meet all patient scheduling targets on a daily basis
  • Handle all administrative aspects of the patient’s pre-visit experience including:
    • Educate patients on available benefits/services
    • act as a liaison with administrative staff to address patient concerns or other issues,
    • schedule patient appointments
    • Verify patients’ insurance coverage and advise patient of any insurance referrals/authorizations needed
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all services and benefits available and stay up-to-date with any changes
  • Document and report any service inquiries from patients
  • Provide efficient, courteous customer service and assist in all aspects of offering applicable services to meet the patients’ needs.  
  • Ensure an extraordinary patient experience all the time, every time.
 
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma/GED
  • Bilingual Polish Required
  • 1-3 years in retail/customer service in any setting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, task oriented, and desire to meet and exceed goals
  • Understand the patients’ needs and help them discover how our services can meet those needs
