Roles & Responsibilities:  
  • Work on the collaborative research project of the structural analysis of human Timeless/Tipin complex in Prof. Zhou’s lab.
  • Studies structure-function of proteins in epigenetic control of gene transcription using state-of-the-art structural/chemical biology and molecular/cell chromatin biology methods  and work with other research scientists in the Zhou Lab in structural mechanism studies of epigenetic proteins in gene regulation.
  • The current ongoing study addresses a fundamental question in cell biology about how regulation of DNA replication and DNA damage repair is coupled.
  • Detailed mechanistic understanding of this important biological system will open new opportunities to develop novel therapeutics for disease treatment, particularly cancer.
 
Requirements:
  • Education: Doctorate Degree PhD in sciences
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience
