Roles & Responsibilities:
The Department of Population Health Science and Policy is seeking a full-time Research Assistant that will assist with all primary and related activities related to support of ongoing and new clinical trials evaluating impact of personalized health information technologies on prevention and management of chronic health conditions.
The Research Assistant will assist in the research subject recruitment, screening, enrollment, data collection, follow-up activities, and data entry. Data collection includes administering standardized questionnaires, surveys, qualitative interviews, chart reviews, and from results obtained following lab tests. Scheduling activities include communicating with participants who are interested in enrolling in the study and continuing with the follow-up study visits. The Research Assistant will follow established research protocols and will complete the training needed to carry out the study protocol. The Research Assistant will be responsible for generating project update reports, data entry of collected data and ensuring safety and security of data. The Research Assistant will complete all other duties as assigned.
Associate degree in related discipline. Two years of clinical research related experience. Must be willing to travel to complete home visits.
Interaction with patients, research participants, customer service experience &
some background in information technologies preferred.
