Roles & Responsibilities:

 

The Senior Scientist will research, develop, and implement advanced algorithms that evolve Computational Pathology.

 
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Algorithm research and development, system design, and software development
  • Work with pathologists and imaging professionals to formulate novel methodologies and algorithms in the measurement of morphological and histological properties of cancer tissue
  • Rely on experience with computer vision, image analysis, and machine learning to extract meaningful feature data from captured microscope images. We want you to innovate, create and help us grow holistically
  • At Precise MD you will proactively identify new trends and technologies to adopt while aiding in the review and evaluation of existing systems
  • You are a founding team member and as such, you will grow professionally to lead future research
 
Requirements:
  • Education: M.Sc. (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Biomedical / Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or similar discipline
  • Extensive post-degree experience in building and applying vision and/or learning algorithms - e.g., feature extraction, object detection, segmentation, regression, survival analysis
  • Solid development skills in C/C++, Python, or Matlab
  • Passion for developing seminal computer vision and machine learning algorithms and improving medicine through analytics
