Job Title: Web Content Manager - Contract 12 month 

The Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) must have a strong understanding of websites and digital marketing. He/she will work with colleagues in Central Marketing and stakeholders throughout the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Health System on the development of website content and online marketing campaigns. The DMM will ensure that the website’s content, usability, and appearance are optimal for heightening the online visibility and perception of Mount Sinai.

The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing. This is a temporary position; the duration is 12-months. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of websites for identified departments within the Mount Sinai Health System including the Master’s Programs (MS in Biomedical Data Science, Biomedical Science, Biostatistics, Genetic Counseling, Health Care Delivery Leadership, Master of Health Administration, Master of Public Health), and the Departments of Anesthesiology, Pathology, and Pharmacology and Systems Therapeutics.
  • Working with Mount Sinai’s Digital Agency of Record, develop and manage paid marketing activities across multiple digital platforms (SEM, Google Display, Facebook, email marketing, etc.) ensuring that campaigns are tasked properly and meet or exceed all advertising goals.
  • Develop and maintain all digital-focused project deliverables for assigned service area campaigns, including budgets, timelines and change requests and assures that projects are completed according to schedule and within budget.
  • Research and develop patient personas and journeys for service line campaigns as identified by leadership
  • Perform competitive analysis and benchmarking for projects identified by leadership
  • Analyze and provide monthly reports on campaigns for department stakeholders as well as senior leadership.Work with internal teams (SEO, editorial, creative, etc.) to ensure website content and campaigns are optimized for best performance.
  • Assist Associate Directors, Director, and Executive Director on other projects as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in content creation, digital marketing, search engine optimization, search engine marketing and web analytics.
  • Working knowledge of the health care industry, science, and higher education preferred.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills including experience in writing, editing, and proofing content for the web.
  • Strengths in data analysis and the ability to synthesize user feedback to help drive content decisions.
  • Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, meeting deadlines, and working with team members and outside vendors.
